Arta Delharte (Madrid, 1999) is a visual artist with a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Castilla-La Mancha. Her practice lies between expanded painting and the digital realm, exploring the boundaries between the performative and the object-based as forms of meaning-making and escape. She has complemented her artistic research through programs such as “From Action to Object and from Object to Action” (MACBA, Barcelona), has participated in exhibitions in spaces such as Casa de Vacas del Retiro, and has undertaken residencies at GlogauAIR (Berlin).

Her body of work encompasses an undisciplined, appropriationist, and conceptual practice.

“It’s true, I don’t have an exact discipline — nor do I want one. I’m not looking for a discipline. To me, ‘undisciplined’ seems more disorderly, freer, harder to categorize — and that fits my practice better.”
